2nd Place ~ Chris Pettitt, Julia Radnor & Cath Liggins from Druids Heath & Branston

Well done to everyone and we are already looking forward to next year when we hope to see some Lichfield names amongst the winners!

On the Course
The course is playing really well at the moment and many members have given some great feedback recently, which is much appreciated. The greenkeeping team are working hard to keep up this high standard and we are maintaining the bunkers by de-stoning and topping up with sand on a regular basis.
It will soon be that time of year again when hollow tining takes place and this year we intend to scarify the greens first followed by a full hollow core, overseed and topdress. This process is completed by watering and rolling to make sure the surface is as good as possible whilst it recovers.
Finally, our congratulations go to golf member, Chris Hession and his team who completed the Longest Day Challenge by playing 72 holes of golf in 15 hours and walking 36km! They have raised over £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support – massive well done!
