July 2019 clubbercise 2

Great news for the Summer – you can take part in a brand new Clubbercise class.  Hannah is teaching the class in Studio 1 at 8.45am every Wednesday.

Clubbercise classes are taught to a soundtrack of old and new club hits. A fusion of dance, toning and combat moves with high and low impact options for all fitness levels and one class can burn around 600 calories.

We are trialling this new class so come and give it a go and let us know what you think!

Three of our Wellness Advisors – Sally Gibson, Kirstie Southam & Harry Foley recently attended an excellent training day on musculoskeletal disorders covering arthritis, low back pain, osteoporosis and muscular dysfunctions.

This training and the many others our team undertake means we can ensure you all receive the most up to date advice and care every time you come to the gym. If you struggle with certain exercises because of a medical condition, book a review with us to make sure you get the most effective and safest workout you can.

Charity Zumba-thon

Health member Jane Pugh is taking part in a charity Zumba-thon in memory of her friend Helen Ford. Helen used to be a member of the Club and her daughter, Nikki Ryder, is organising the fundraiser on 29th September, in aid of Cancer Research.
