Golf Tip of the Month: Downhill Lie

Mar 5, 2018 13:148 months ago

When you are faced with a difficult downhill lie, you need to remember that the ball is going to fly lower than normal, so this could influence club selection.

To help you create a clean contact it is important that you lean with the slope and try to get your spine perpendicular (90 degrees) to the slope. Leaning back to try and lift the ball will only lead to a mis-hit, as you won’t create the correct angle of attack.
